✏️ In connection with my running list of phenomena that need words made, I am making a list of words that I wish to coin. Here is the first, for your consideration:
Actualstance: grounded in what has actually occurred, rather than in speculation, impression, or performance; the stance that arises from verifiable experience and concrete reality.
Ex: Although Nora was a writer of fiction, the bones of her stories were always rooted in actualstance— details, anecdotes, and ironies lifted directly from her real-life experience.
