- There is no polite way of asking someone, “Do you exercise?".
- Collared shirts and business ties stifle creativity.
- iMessage should allow me to create hyperlinks instead of pasting the entire URL.
- Deep down inside, everyone is “a foodie.”
- You should be able to thumbs up or thumbs down trailers in the movie theatre; a trailer with too many thumbs down gets skipped.
- The little ellipse indicating that you or someone is texting back should be banned. It is anxiety-inducing social surveillance disguised as reassurance.

🔍 Last week, I added a search feature to my micro.blog. Being a non-technical user, it felt like a real achievement. I see it as a solid step to ensuring that this space can function as a rabbit hole for people (especially myself) to discover and rediscover pleasant things. I love micro.blog.
👾 I am proudly Gen Z— but only barely make the cut. My most millennial trait is that I love a good GIF (and I am not afraid to say it).
🪖 Sort of niche but exceptionally useful— found out that Virginia Tech has an extensive ratings list of scientifically tested helmets.
From bicycle helmets to construction to football, their findings are 100% objective and free from marketing influence. Am getting my next skate/bike helmet now…
🪴 My local library in Brooklyn had a “plant swap” on Saturday, where I escaped with some great new greenery. I absolutely love this kind of interconnectedness and community-building.

🎮 I am not much of a gamer, and I don’t typically enjoy jokes that are at other people’s expense. But… the game trailer for Karen, a self-described “3D action beat-em-up sandbox game where players will embody a disgruntled Karen who’s been denied service to her satisfaction” was so, so funny to me.

✌️ Came across a wildly fun video of Kendrick Lamar’s 2025 Superbowl performance in American Sign Language from deaf interpreter Jeremy Lee Stone. It’s well worth the watch.
However, it’s his breakdown of the interpretation and explanation for his choices that is easily the most creative thing you’ll see all week. It’s a beautiful blend of artistry, language, and expression. I don’t know sign language, but I feel this gave me an even deeper appreciation for the deaf community.
💐 I’ve mentioned this before, but I am truly rooting for guys like iShowSpeed. His tour of Africa was such a fun showcase of nations, ethnicities, and culture. Watching him do interviews out of character always reminds me how polite, intelligent, and successful he is–at only 21 years old!
